Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop December 2018

Hello again! Thanks for stopping by to check out my blog. Today I am participating in:

For this blog hop the only requirement is to use current Stampin' Up!® product. While this is great, it can make it difficult to decide what to do! This month I have used a house warming present we received as my inspiration. Some people got together to give us a special house number for our new home. Absolutely gorgeous!!

So, because we were given this beautifully designed metal artwork by a group, I wanted to send them thank you cards that, while similar, were also individual.

Let me know what you think of them!

As you can see, they are all slightly different. The inside of all of them is the same:

Don't forget to stop by all the other blogs too! So many wonderful ideas!

Cheers

Deb xx

Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop November 2018

Thank you for joining us again for our Demonstrator Training Blog Hop! We are all part of a training program which has the sole purpose of improving our Stampin' Up!® businesses and learn from top Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world. Please be sure to 'HOP' all the way around to all of the projects on this Blog Hop, there is a list at the bottom of the page that will help you to make your way around all the blog posts and gain so much inspiration.

These are the cards I made for swaps at OnStage on the weekend using current Stampin' Up!® products. I was so happy with how they turned out that I decided to include them here!

Firstly I stamped the kangaroo and rhinoceros in soft suede on gray granite cardstock. The card itself is whisper white and I have used call me clover and pineapple punch for the top mats which are on dimensionals. I got some brooch pins from Spotlight and attached them to the back of the kangaroo and rhinoceros with the fine tip glue pen and also coated the fronts of the animals with the fine tip glue pen.

The frog on the branch was stamped in memento and coloured with markers using gray granite on the twigs and lemon lime twist on the leaves. The frog was coloured with a call me clover marker and then sealed with a fine tip glue pen.

The greeting was stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed with black.

I used framelits to cut out the animals and branch and added dimensionals to make them 'pop'.

The colours used for the background of the rhino were:

Night of Navy, Blueberry Bliss, Pacific Point, Call Me Clover, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist and Sea Foam.

The colours used for the background of the kangaroo were:

Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody, Crushed Curry, Pineapple Punch and Daffodil Delight.

I have added a video of how to do the 'Rainbow Technique', I hope you find it helpful.

This is the card I made for our hop today using current Stampin' Up!® products -

I decided to use multiple embossing powders for this card. Simply stamp your image in VersaMark and then sprinkle your embossing powders (one at a time) over different areas. It is fine for them to overlap. I use a plastic straw for doing this as it allows you to pick up a small amount of powder and you can place it fairly accurately just by tapping the straw lightly.

Thank you so much for being part of our blog hop today! We really hope that you gain lots of ideas and inspiration that will help you create amazing things. You are currently at my blog - Deb Macdowell.  So check the list below to see who is next in the list. Make sure you don't miss any!!
