Rooted in Nature and Quite Curvy

 

I've chosen a more masculine card today! This card could be used for a birthday, or as a thank you or even for Father's Day.

I enjoy combining different stamp sets to make a unique card. Rooted in Nature and Quite Curvy worked really well together.

Card Measurements

Card base:    29.7cm x 10.5cm scored at 14.9cm and folded

1st layer:    14.5cm x 10cm

Inner layer:    14.5cm x 10cm

Scrap vellum for leaves and scrap DSP for leaf

Instructions

• Stamp leaf image on vellum in different ink colours
• Die cut leaves
• Adhere small leaf to DSP
• Adhere leaves to 1st layer using mini dimensionals for small leaf
• Die cut curve
• Stamp sentiment on front of card base
• Adhere 1st layer to front of card base
• Adhere inner layer to inside back of card base
• Adhere small leaves to inner layer

TIP:    Put glue on back of vellum and spread with a sponge so it's a thin even layer, then adhere.

This was a fun card to make and I love how the small leaf really pops when coloured DSP is placed behind it!
