An easy fun fold for casual crafters! It doesn't even matter if your card is portrait or landscape, it still works! Fold the front flap of your card in half so the right hand edge meets the center fold. Next you add your image on a separate piece of cardstock adhering it with dimensionals (make sure you only put your dimensionals on the left hand half of the raised cardstock so they don't stick to the inside of the card when it is closed).
Card Measurements
Card base: 29.7cm x 10.5cm scored at 14.9cm and folded
1st layer: 10cm x 7cm
2nd layer: 11cm x 8cm
3rd layer: 10.5cm x 7.5cm
Inner layer: 14.5cm x 10cm
Scrap for flowers and leaves
Instructions
- Stamp image on inner layer
- Adhere inner layer to inside back of card base
- Stamp flowers and leaves on scrap using same colour ink as cardstock
- Punch out flowers and leaves
- Fold front flap of card in half
- Adhere 1st layer to new card front
- Adhere flowers and leaves to 3rd layer using glue dots
- Stamp sentiment on 3rd layer
- Adhere 3rd layer to 2nd layer
- Adhere 2nd layer to 1st layer using dimensionals but only on the left hand half of the 2nd layer so they don't stick to the inside of the card
- Add rhinestones to centers of flowers
I hope you give this fun fold a try!
Cheers
