Inkstability: Flowers of Friendship

I have just had the best weekend! I joined an event hosted by Pam Jorgensen & Alisa Tilsner called Creative Carnival. It was so much fun!!

I learnt so much and was just in awe at all the hard work and planning these two lovely ladies put into all their efforts to make the weekend a wonderful experience!

It started with the fantastic goody box, full of product and unexpected surprises - all beautifully packaged - just like Christmas! It continued with great ideas, fabulous company, make & takes, challenges, prizes, guest speakers, crafty fun and wrapped up with tutorials to download.

All this was achieved via zoom and facebook (with a little snail mail and email added). I can't wait for the next one in October!!!

A huge thank you to all the attendees who made it such an amazing, fun and educational experience, but especially to Pam, Alisa and our special guest speakers, Clare & Emma! You guys rock!!

One of our challenges was a colour challenge.

It was left up to us how we interpreted the challenge.

Because we don't have Blushing Bride as a Stampin' Blend colour, I chose to use Petal Pink.

Card Measurements

Card base: 29.7cm x 10.5cm scored at 14.9cm and folded

1st layer: 14.5cm x 10cm

2nd layer: 10cm x 6.5cm

Inner layer: 14.5cm x 10cm

2nd Inner layer: 11.5cm x 8cm

Instructions

Die cut 1st layer using Scalloped Contours
Die cut 2nd layer using Scalloped Contours
Die cut 2nd inner layer using Scalloped Contours
Stamp image on 2nd layer
Colour image on 2nd layer using Stampin' Blends
Stamp image on 2nd inner layer
Adhere 1st layer to front of card base
Adhere 2nd layer to front of card base
Adhere inner layer to inside back of card base
Adhere 2nd inner layer to inner layer
Adhere pearls
Colour flower petals with Clear Wink of Stella
