Who else has an idea that pops into their head (for a card) and half way through decides that it isn't working and changes it? That's what happened to me when I was making these cards.
Firstly, I knew I needed to make a birthday card and thought I would use the Split Card Technique. I chose Ornate Style for my image. Once I had coloured it and cut it in half, I thought it needed some black to help it pop. That still didn't do it for me, so I added some champagne foil. Still not happy I had the bright idea of cutting part of the image out (overhang technique). Now I was beginning to like them but something still wasn't right. THEN........due to a C.R.A.F.T. moment (Can't Remember A Flaming Thing) I got all enthused and cut too much off the height of the right hand split. Now I had a dilemma! While the one with the raccoon looked fine, the other one looked lost in a portrait format. Finally, one last light bulb flashed and I decided to make it a landscape layout! YAY!!! All good!!
