Scrap Whisper White and Rococo Rose for sentiment

Instructions

My card today combines a couple of techniques. Firstly I masked the card with a piece of plain computer paper that I had cut a circle out of with the largest of the plain Layering Circles dies. I then used a blending brush to add seaside spray, darker around the edges and getting lighter closer to the middle. Before removing the mask I stamped in the circle with the word stamp using Smoky Slate (I stamped it twice to cover the circle). I then removed the mask.

Taking a few baby wipes, I folded them together and placed them on an acrylic block. I added several drops of Seaside Spray, Pretty Peacock, Rococo Rose and Terracotta Tile ink refills until the baby wipes were fairly well covered. Next I stamped the leaves using the baby wipes as a stamp pad.

On a scrap of Whisper White (4.5cm x 5.5cm) I stamped the frame in VersaMark, added silver embossing powder and then heat set it. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. Using the blending brush and Seaside Spray, I coloured the edges.

I stamped the leaves on the Inner layer (using the baby wipe stamp pad again) and adhered the Inner layer to the inside of the card back.

The 2nd layer was adhered to the 1st layer and that was adhered to the card front. The sentiment was then adhered to Rococo Rose, mounted on dimensionals and attached to the 2nd layer.
