Non-traditional Christmas card today! I have already used Curvy Christmas and Quite Curvy so many times in the month or so I have had them!
Card Measurements
Card base: 29.7cm x 10.5cm
1st layer: 14.5cm x 10cm
Inner layer: 14.5cm x 10cm
Scrap: Whisper White & Brushed Metallic Cardstock
Instructions
- Score card base at 14.9cm and fold
- Stamp leaves on scrap of Whisper White
- Colour leaves (I used all the greens in the two watercolour pencil packs)
- Die cut leaves
- Using largish scraps of Brushed Metallic Cardstock, die cut curved shapes
- Adhere small die cut leaves to coloured leaves
- Adhere curved die cuts to 1st layer and inner layer
- Adhere coloured leaves to 1st layer with dimensionals
- Stamp sentiment on 1st and inner layers
- Attach 1st layer to card front
- Attach inner layer to inside back of card
- Attach left over leaves with mini dimensionals
I wondered if the leaves that are cut out from the curvy die (the ones in the foil) would fit on the leaves that I coloured, and they sort of do! I thought it was a shame to waste them and that they would add another dimension!
The left over leaves I added in various blank spots (including the inside) for some extra decoration. I enjoyed making this card and am really happy with the way it has turned out!
Come back tomorrow for another blog hop and a thank you card using Very Versailles, masking and baby wipe techniques!
Cheers
Deb xx
