Dandy Wishes (Sneak peek)

WOW!!! Wow! Wow! Wow!

I just got to play with our new blending brushes......WOW!!!!! LOVE, love, love them!

I had been looking for some for the last year or so but unfortunately I hadn't been able to find any at our local shops. Now I'm so glad I didn't find them because I don't think they would've been as nice as these. They are very fine, densely packed bristles. Until you touch them, you think they are foam.....no, definitely bristles! They are so good!

Using Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red stamp pads, I played with the blending brushes and ended up with a sunset style background which I thought was too good to not use. Now the thing I like best with a sunset background is a silhouette but I had new stamps and dies I still hadn't had a chance to use! What a quandry! Quick answer, turn them into a silhouette!!

Dandy Wishes dies came to the rescue and I love the way it has turned out!

Next quandry: what type of sentiment can I put on it without covering up too much? Aha! Another new stamp set came to the rescue. This time it was Many Messages. This is actually a background stamp with lots of different sentiments and it has a co-ordinating die called Messages which is a single die that cuts out all the sentiments in one go! How good is that??!! Brilliant! Soooo.....I inked the part I wanted to use with VersaMark and with the help of my trusty Stamparatus, I was able to stamp it just where I wanted! Heat embossed it in gold and cut it down to a thin strip that fit along the bottom.

How do you like the finished product? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog. I'm not including card measurements or a list of products this time as it is a basic card and most of the products used are not available for purchase yet.

Cheers
