I have chosen to use the Forever Fern stamp set and the coordinating Forever Flourishing dies on a teepee card. The Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP) is from the Forever Greenery Bundle also.
Teepee cards look intimidating but are really quite easy to make.
Card Measurements
Card Base: Comes in two pieces:
a) 20cm x 10cm scored at 10cm landscape and from 10cm score to corner diagonally on each side (as per photo below)
b) 10cm x 10cm scored diagonally corner to corner (as per photo below)
DSP or 1st layer: 9.5cm x 9.5cm squares of SDSP or DSP (x2) each square CUT diagonally corner to corner (as per photo below except you will need to cut both 9.5cm x 9.5cm pieces). You'll only need 3 of these triangles to decorate your teepee. Preferably choose DSP that doesn't have a specific direction or otherwise one of your pieces will be upside down.
Inside layer: 9.5cm x 9.5cm square cardstock
Scraps: Whisper White to stamp flowers and leaves on and Gold Foil
The inside of the card is shown above and shows how the insert for your greeting and the velcro are placed and attached. To make the card into a teepee fold the two flaps (from the 20cm x 10cm piece) one over the other. The velcro will be on the inside on one (here it's the left one) and the other piece of velcro will be on the outside (in this case the right hand one which is why you can't see it).
Once you have glued your cardstock pieces together, you can add your DSP triangles and any further embellishments you desire. Add velcro (as shown in inside card photo) to enable card to be opened and closed. You could also use a brad. This card will also fold flat for posting and will fit inside a C6 envelope.
Don't forget to join in the fun and vote for your favourite entry (preferably mine 😉). You can vote for your 5 favourite entries by clicking on the heart in the top right corner of each entry. Click on the image below and you will be taken to the blog hop.
Cheers
