Painted Poppies

Today I'm blog hopping with:

The theme for the hop is:  Thank You

My card today is very clean and simple and I have used the Painted Poppies stamp set. Place an order with me this month and this is the card I will send you!

Card Measurements

Card base:    29.8cm x 10.5cm

1st layer:    14.8cm x 10.3cm

2nd layer:    14.5cm x 10cm

Instructions

On the 2nd layer, I inked the poppy image using VersaMark and without stamping, inked again in Tuxedo Black Memento. I then stamped the image and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Next I coloured the image with Stampin' Blends and stamped the thanks.

Using my Paper Trimmer I scored all 4 sides of the 2nd layer at 1cm, 1.5cm and 2cm. I chose to score on the back of the card stock as I wanted the score lines to be mountains not valleys.

Next I glued my layers together and attached them to the front of the card base.

On the inside I stamped the poppies using Tuxedo Black Memento and then glued the two layers together and attached them to the inside of the card base.
