Well that's Christmas, done and dusted! I hope you all enjoyed it in whatever way you prefer!
We had an extremely quiet one this year, which is nice occasionally. We'll catch up with some family in the next few days and then back to our Darby & Joan existence!
Today I have chosen to participate in the December 2020 SU! Color Challenge. This group is run by some Stampin' Up!® demonstrators on Facebook and the purpose of the group is to challenge ourselves with the Stampin' Up! products in a variety of ways and to see how many amazing color combinations we can come up with.
Just when we think it won't work, it always does!. Think outside the box!!!
The colours this month are:
I had to really put my thinking cap on for this colour combination!
Since I am still looking for excuses to use the new blending brushes (January - June 2021 Mini Catalogue), it made sense to do a background of the blended colours and then I decided to use the dandelion from Garden Wishes (January - June 2021 Mini Catalogue) as a silhouette. The dandelion looked as if it was floating in mid air and while I was searching for more inspiration, I noticed a left over piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock that had been cut with the Curvy Dies. This enabled me to ground the dandelion!
I hope you like the finished product!
