One of our neighbours was blessed with their first grandchild a little while ago and Senior Years seemed to be an appropriate stamp set to use to celebrate the event! I combined it with a retired stamp set called Sweet Baby that I still had in my stash and one called Many Mates (which is still current) for the sentiment.
I love how this card turned out! It was such a fun card to make too!
Card Measurements
Card base: 29.7cm x 10.5cm
1st layer: 14.5cm x 10cm
2nd layer: 14cm x 9.5cm
Inner layer: 14.5cm x 10cm
Scrap Whisper White for baby and headband
Instructions
- Score card base at 14.9cm and fold
- Stamp image on 2nd layer in Memento Tuxedo Black
- Stamp It's A Girl! in alternating Blushing Bride and Melon Mambo
- Stamp Congrats in Rococo Rose
- Stamp baby and headband on scrap Whisper White
- Colour Seniors and Baby with Stampin' Blends (I used Light & Dark Seaside Spray, Light Night of Navy, Light Smoky Slate, Light & Dark Crumb Cake, Ivory, Bronze, Light Melon Mambo, Dark Petal Pink and Light & Dark Pink Pirouette (retired)
- Using Bouncing Baby dies (retired) die cut baby and headband
- Adhere 2nd layer to 1st layer
- Adhere 1st layer to card front
- Using dimensionals attach baby to 2nd layer
- Adhere headband to baby
- Stamp onesie image on inner layer
- Adhere inner layer to inside back of card
