Today's card is similar to yesterday's card in looks, but it has been made differently. I was inspired by a card by Tina Zinck.
Card Measurements
Card base: 29cm x 10cm scored at 14.5cm and folded
1st layer: 10cm x 5cm
Inner layer: 14.5cm x 10cm
Back layer: 14.9cm x 10.5cm
Instructions
- Place inner layer under front of card base (make sure card base is open fully so back can't be cut) and place on cut & emboss machine cutting layer
- Using middle die from Hippo & Friends centered in top two thirds of front of card base, cut shape
- On inside back of card base, mark edges of cut shape lightly in pencil
- Stamp image on inside back of card base so it is centered in cut out
- Stamp leaves & stem
- Adhere 1st layer (DSP) to bottom front of card base
- Using stampin' seal adhere ribbon to top of DSP
- Using glue dots attach bow to ribbon
- Stamp sentiment on front of card base
- Adhere inner layer (DSP) to inside front of card base (making sure to cover ribbon ends)
- Adhere back layer to back of card base
- Attach rhinestones
I love the way this gives you a coloured border all around your white card!
