The inspiration for today's card comes from a happy mistake! I was using the Hippo & Friends dies and accidently cut out the size above the one I wanted, so I cut the smaller one out of the bigger one. Conveniently this left me with a frame!
This card is made exactly the same way as yesterday's card. To get the card measurements and instructions, simply go to the previous blog post.
Where this card differs is the way the image is stamped on the front of the card and frame as well as inside.
I found it easiest with the stamparatus!
Stamp image on inside of card. Next you place a sticky note over the image (your die cuts will already be done) and with the frame lined up with the cut out shape. Taking smallest and next smallest die shapes, place both on scrap and making sure smallest is centered in the next one, die cut for frame!
Stamp the same image as inside (making sure the card base does not move between stampings). If necessary, restamp front of card without frame in place. Remove sticky note when finished.
Colour image/s (I used water painters and stamp pads).
Adhere frame using foam adhesive strips.
I hope you enjoyed my happy accident card! Come back on Monday 19th for a surprise!
Cheers
Deb xx
