This month the theme is Easter/Spring.
My card is a spring theme with Granny Apple Green as the main colour. It's such a bright, cheery, fresh colour, it always makes me think of spring!
I have combined Butterfly Bouquet Collection with Flower and Field DSP (no longer available), Rainbow Glimmer Paper and Story Label Punch. The sentiment is from Timeless Tropical.
Card Measurements
Card base: 21cm x 14.9cm scored at 10.5cm and folded
1st layer: 13.5cm x 8.5cm
Inner layer: 14.5cm x 10cm
Scrap for sentiment, label, butterfly and matting
Instructions
- Adhere a narrow strip of cardstock to each side of 1st layer
- Adhere 1st layer to front of card base
- Die cut butterflies from Rainbow Glimmer Paper
- Die cut butterfly from Basic Black cardstock
- Stamp sentiment on scrap
- Punch sentiment out
- Using sentiment punch, punch another for matting
- Cut punched matting in half widthways
- Adhere punched matting to top and bottom of sentiment
- Adhere sentiment to front of card base using dimensionals
- Adhere scrap of Basic White to matting
- Adhere scrap and matting to front of card base using dimensionals
- Adhere Basic Black butterfly to Rainbow butterfly using glue dots
- Adhere butterflies to scrap using dimensionals
- Adhere strip of DSP to right hand side of inner layer
- Adhere Rainbow butterfly to inner layer
