Color & Contour Beginner/Casual Crafter

Some stamp sets are so versatile that you use them again and again! Color & Contour is one of them! I have so many different ideas for using it floating around in my head!

The one I have chosen to use today is for a square card aimed at the beginner to casual crafter.

For the beginner crafter the three flowers could be fussy cut with paper snips or you could stamp the three of them on a piece of card stock 4.5cm x 12.5 approximately. I think the effect would be the same!

Card Measurements

Card base:    28cm x 14cm scored at 14cm and folded

1st layer:    10.5cm x 10.5cm (x2)

2nd layer (DSP):    10cm x 10cm (x2)

Scrap for flowers

Instructions

  • Stamp flowers on scrap
  • Die cut/fussy cut flowers
  • Stamp sentiment on 2nd layer (DSP)
  • Adhere 2nd layer to 1st layer
  • Adhere 1st layer to front of card base
  • Adhere 3 flowers to 2nd layer using dimensionals on front of card base
  • Adhere 2nd layer to 1st layer
  • Adhere 1st layer to inside back of card base
  • Adhere flower to 2nd layer on inside back of card base
  • Adhere Opal Rounds to flower centers on front of card

Most of the products used in the making of this card are from the new Annual Catalogue 2021-2022. You can purchase them from 4th May 2021 (or earlier if you are a demonstrator).

I used:

Pale Papaya A4 cardstock

Basic Black A4 cardstock

In-Colour 2021-2023 Designer Series Paper (DSP) 6" x 6" or 15.2cm x 15.2cm

Scalloped Contours dies

Memento Tuxedo Black stamp pad

Opal Rounds

Multipurpose Glue

Paper trimmer

Cut & Emboss Machine

Thanks for taking the time to stop by. Tomorrow is another hop and this time I am making a 3D project!

Cheers
