Quiet Meadow

I have been having so much fun making my own DSP using stamp pads, acetate, a water filled spritzer, gilded leafing and multipurpose glue! It's a technique I saw by Christine Wrede the other day. Thanks Christine!

Card Measurements

Card base:    21cm x 14.9cm scored at 10.5cm and folded

1st layer:    14.5cm x 10cm

2nd layer:    14cm x 9.5cm

Inner layer:    14.5cm x 10cm

Acetate:    14.5cm x 10cm

Scrap for flowers and leaves

Instructions

  • Dab 1st colour on acetate and spray with water
  • Transfer colour from acetate to 2nd layer by smooching or carefully bending acetate and just touching
  • Repeat previous steps with 2nd and/or 3rd colours
  • When happy with colour layout, let it dry (or use heat gun to dry)
  • Using multipurpose liquid glue add thin trails of glue over 2nd layer
  • Using Gilded Leafing sprinkle over glue areas and press down, then brush off excess
  • Adhere 2nd layer to 1st layer
  • Adhere 1st layer to front of card base
  • Die cut flowers from scrap
  • Colour die cut flowers using blending brushes
  • Adhere flowers to 2nd layer using dimensionals and glue
  • Tie Simply Elegant Trim in bow around stems
  • Adhere premade Many Messages sentiment using dimensionals
  • Stamp image on inner layer
  • Adhere inner layer to inside back of card base

I hope you enjoy trying this technique but be warned, it's addictive!!

Cheers
Deb xx
