PP286 - A Colo(u)r Challenge from Nance

Hello again! Today I have decided to enter into a colour challenge with The Paper Players!

Calypso Coral and Bermuda Bay are two of my all time favourites and Basic Black goes with everything! Great choice Nance!

Since we have been doing so many cards with the Sale-A-Bration stamps lately (don't forget this great chance to earn FREE products ends 31st March 2016 - still time to get in an order with me www.debmacdowell.stampinup.net) I thought I would use something from the Annual Catalogue!

Out comes my old favourite (drum roll please).........

Perfect Peacock!!! Yay!!!

I love the way this turned out! I had been thinking I would use the banner from Large Numbers Framelits but it was too big (serves me right for not trying things out before sticking them down!). The Ticket Duo Builder Punch to the rescue! Then I thought it looked a bit bare with just the Calypso Coral so the corner lines from Helping Me Grow were added. Still not happy, so I added a piece of Bermuda Bay and used the 1/8th circle punch to make the corners match.
Using the Trio Corner Punch just added that small touch of softness that I think the card needed.

On the inside I thought just a portion of the peacock tied it all together!

Finally, a touch of Wink of Stella clear on the peacock and it was done!
