Today I'm hopping with the Global Design Project for a colour challenge. You can get to their page by clicking on the image below:
I chose Night of Navy as my third colour as I was originally thinking of doing a male card but Good Morning Magnolia jumped out at me and it turned into a Sympathy Card for either a male or female.
Card Measurements
Card base: 29.8cm x 10.5cm
1st layer: 14.5cm x 10cm
2nd layer: 14cm x 9.5cm
This is a fairly basic card that relies on it's simplicity. I stamped the magnolia in Smoky Slate on Whisper White card stock and then used a water painter with Night of Navy for the leaves and with Coastal Cabana for the flower. The twig was also done with a water painter and Smoky Slate.
It was finished off by stamping the sentiment directly onto the 2nd layer in Night of Navy and adding a few rhinestones which were coloured with Pool Party Stampin' Blends as we don't have them in Coastal Cabana. As usual, there is a list of the products used to make this card at the end of this post.
If you live in Australia and don't have your own demonstrator and would like to purchase any of these products, simply click on the product and it will take you to my online store!
Please take the time to have a look at all the other entries too!
