Stampin' Blends and Alcohol on Vellum - Sketch Challenge

Today I am taking part in a Sketch Challenge with:

We are a group of crafters who love Stampin' Up!® products and want to inspire and encourage new/casual crafters who don't 'have everything' yet!

Here is the sketch we are using for our inspiration:

I have chosen to use the Stampin' Blends and Alcohol (90%+) on Vellum technique for my card. You can find more information on the technique on my post from yesterday 16th April, 2021.

I decided to take part of the sketch literally and scored the vellum in my paper trimmer to get the 'frame' effect. Next I used Stampin' Blends in Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green (darks only) to colour one side of the vellum (14.5cm x 9.5cm). Next I sprayed the coloured side of the vellum with isopropyl alcohol (I used Diggers 100%) and used an air puffer to move the ink around. When it was dry I adhered it to Granny Apply Green card stock (14.5cm x 10cm) with Tombow and a sponge to spread it.

I adhered the Granny Apple Green card stock and vellum to the front of the Night of Navy card base (29.7cm x 10.5cm scored at 14.9cm and folded).

Basic White card stock (14.5cm x 10cm) was adhered to the inside back of the card base after I had stamped 3 daisies in Daffodil Delight on the bottom edge.

The Daisy and Medium Daisy punches were used to punch out 2 daisies each from Daffodil Delight card stock. The 2 Daisies were adhered using Mini Glue Dots and so were the 2 Medium Daisies. The larger Daisy was adhered to the vellum using Mini Glue Dots and the Medium Daisy was adhered to the vellum using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. Three circles were punched out of Granny Apple Green card stock, one 2", one ½" and one ¼". The ½" became the center of the larger Daisy and the ¼" became the center of the Medium Daisy. These were also adhered to the Daisies with Mini Glue Dots.

The 2" circle had the sentiment stamped on it in Night of Navy. The sentiment was from Forever Fern. The 2" circle was then adhered to the vellum using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
