I'm loving Delicate Dahlias and thought they would make a wonderful Thank You (the blog hop theme) teamed with Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks!
So happy with they way this card came together! I decided to outline each of the shapes with a Night of Navy Stampin' Write Marker. A bit of 'fussy' cutting and the card was almost done!
Card Measurements
Card base: 29.7cm x 10.5cm scored at 14.9cm and folded
1st layer: 14.5cm x 10cm
Inner layer: 14.5cm x 10cm
Scrap for flower and sentiment
Instructions
- Place mask over 1st layer
- Using blending brushes, lightly colour 1st layer
- Keep adding colour to 1st layer until happy with result
- Outline shapes with Stampin' Write Marker
- Remove mask (and clean)
- Adhere 1st layer to front of card base
- Stamp flower image several times on scrap
- Fussy cut flower images
- Using a bone folder, curl the flowers both ways until supple
- Using mini dimensionals adhere layers of flower together
- Stamp sentiment on scrap
- Adhere sentiment to front of card
- Adhere flower to front of card using mini dimensionals
- Adhere genial gems to center of flower
- Stamp partial flower image on inner layer
- Adhere inner layer to inside back of card base
